Uploading Tax Documents for Verification
“How do I upload my Tax Documents for Verification?
If the student/parent did not use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when submitting the FAFSA application, they should log-in to their online Verification Worksheet and select “No” where it says “Did you use IRS Data Retrieval Tool in FAFSA-on-the-Web to transfer IRS income tax information into the FAFSA?”
Once “No” is selected, a new section will appear and ask the student/parent to upload tax documents for the specified year. Clicking on the “Choose File” button will allow the user to select their tax files to upload.
