How do I apply as a non-degree or non-matriculated student?
In order to be accepted by the college as a non-degree student, you will need to complete a Non-Degree Application. Academic documents are not required and it takes about 1 week for applications to be processed.
If you are looking to take classes for both the Summer and Fall semesters, you must submit two non-degree applications for each term.
Please note, if you are looking to register for any Math or English classes, you will need to get approval from the respective academic departments prior to enrollment. You can email them for permission to enroll.
Students looking to complete Math and/or English courses at BMCC must provide one of the following prior to registering for the course:
- An unofficial college transcript showing courses completed* OR
- Standardized Exam Score Report (e.g. Advanced Placement -AP) OR
- High School transcript*
*Please note the math department requires students to show high school completion in order to register for math courses.
