I filed my FAFSA early. Why haven't I heard from BMCC yet?
You should receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Federal Student Aid Programs within 3-5 days after filing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the web.
In order for BMCC to have access to your FAFSA information, be sure you included BMCC's Federal School Code (002691) on your FAFSA application. If not, use your Federal Student Aid ID to make corrections to your FAFSA by adding BMCC's Federal School Code.
You must be accepted into a degree program here at BMCC in order to qualify for Federal Student Aid.
BMCC begins processing applications for the upcoming academic year in ______. After BMCC's Financial Aid Office receives your FAFSA information electronically, we will notify you through your CUNY First account if there are any additional documents required for processing. Once your FAFSA is complete, you will be notified by__how?___ within around __what time frame?____. If you are not eligible for aid, you will be notified ___how?_____.
