Housing Options for BMCC Students
Does BMCC offer housing for its students?
BMCC does not have dorms or any other school-owned housing for its students. Most students choose to live at home and commute to campus each day for classes. We recommend exploring the following options if you are a student who needs to find housing in New York City.
Live at another CUNY School
Students attending CUNY community colleges can apply for housing at Queens College and City College. Students need to be enrolled full time (12 credit hours or more) in order to live in CUNY housing. Visit CUNY's Residence Life FAQ page for more information.
CUNY Off-campus Housing
CUNY also recommends Educational Housing Services (EHS) for off-campus housing.
BMCC's Single Stop Housing Options Resource Page
The Single Stop Office at BMCC connects students to resources they need to support a healthy lifestyle while attending school. Visit their Housing Options web page to view additional housing opportunities.
