Does BMCC accept IEP diplomas?
Unfortunately, BMCC nor CUNY accepts IEP diplomas for admissions as we want to make sure that you are fully prepared for the rigor of our college coursework. If you have an IEP diploma and are looking to attend BMCC or any other CUNY college, you can take the GED/High school equivalency exam to show sufficient proof of high school graduation. You can also reach out to your school district administration to request proof that the IEP diploma is equivalent to a regular High school diploma.
