Bursar Hold Removal

"I paid my balance, how do I get my Bursar Hold removed?"

  

 

 

 

Bursar holds are removed Monday-Friday twice a day (Morning/Evening) for accounts with a zero balance. 

 

For Collections holds, once the Bursar has received confirmation from the Collections Agency that the balance has been resolved, the Collections hold will be removed.  Note, however, although the hold has been removed, students will continue to see the balance on their account until the funds are received from the collections agency, which can take about a month. 

 

Students can confirm if their Bursar hold is removed by contacting the Bursar (bursar@bmcc.cuny.edu)
