Deferring a CUNY Application
Can I move my application to the next semester?
CUNY applications are good for two terms. The current term and the following one (1 year). For example, if a Fall CUNY application is submitted, the application can be deferred once to the next Spring term. It cannot be deferred to the next Fall after the spring term. In that case, a student must submit a brand-new CUNY application.
Deferrals can be requested by emailing admissions@bmcc.cuny.edu or by speaking to an admissions representative in the Panther Station at BMCC.
