To apply for the FAFSA application, you'll need to visit **Studentaid.gov** and log in with your FSA ID username and password. When completing your FAFSA, make sure to:
Include BMCC in your school selection using the correct Federal School Code: **002691**
You can check your FAFSA status by logging into **Studentaid.gov** or by reviewing your CUNYfirst To-Do List in your Student Center. Your application status will show as Draft, In Progress, In Review, Action Required, or Processed.
If you haven't submitted your FAFSA, CUNY will post "File the FAFSA Now" on your to-do list. Remember that you must reapply for FAFSA every aid year.
